Ein Change Agent und S2C-Botschafter des YMCA Südsudan

Zu meinen Aufgaben beim YMCA gehören das Jugendengagement, die Unterstützung verschiedener Projekte und die Tätigkeit als Beauftragter für internationale Beziehungen.

Einer der wichtigsten Aspekte unserer Partnerschaft mit dem EJW ist, dass wir uns in Zeiten der Not und Hoffnungslosigkeit gegenseitig ermutigen und Hoffnung geben. Die Partnerschaft dient weiterhin als Hilfe für Familien, die mit dem YMCA verbunden sind, während der Konflikt in Khartum anhält. Dies zeigt sich auch darin, dass wir füreinander beten, damit wir trotz der Kriege im Sudan und in der Ukraine und jetzt auch in Palästina und Israel zusammenhalten.

Wir beten dafür, dass diese Weihnachtsveranstaltung und -feier uns allen Hoffnung und Freude bringen möge, während unsere Partnerschaft unseren Weg des Fortschritts weiter beflügelt.

Herr, mach mich zu einem Werkzeug deines Friedens; wo Hass ist, lass mich Liebe säen; wo Verletzung ist, Verzeihung; wo Zwietracht ist, Einigkeit; wo Zweifel ist, Glaube; wo Verzweiflung ist, Hoffnung; und wo Dunkelheit ist, Licht; wo Traurigkeit ist, Freude. Amen!

A change Agent and an S2C Ambassador of YMCA South Sudan

My role at the YMCA includes Youth engagement, supporting different projects as well as acting as the International Relations Person for the movement.

One of the key aspects of our partnership with EJW is that, there is a continuous encouragement and giving hope to one another during the times of hardships and hopelessness. The partnership continues to act as a counselling tool for families connected to the YMCA as the conflict in Khartoum persists, this is manifested in the way we pray for one another to remain united despite the wars in Sudan and Ukraine and now people in Palestine and Israel.

We continue to pray that may this Christmas session and celebration bring us all hope and joy as our partnership continues to enkindle our path to progress.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; and where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. Amen!
